General
1. There are 4 Main Table Game Courses; Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Craps. Most casinos require proficiency in at least 2 or 3 main games.
2. There are many side games or “Carnival” games like Pai Gow Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold Em, 3 Card Flush and others which are considered optional.
3. CEG runs an adaptive, flexible school that focuses more on results than time or attendance. We always have teachers on the floor to help you progress.
4. You learn on full sized, professional, clean tables to maximize your learning opportunity. CEG has more than 20 tables configured to look like a casino pit.
5. On average a student will take from 2 to 4 weeks to finish each course. Ability and time available to spend at the school to dictate the pace.
6. We use tablets & checklists to follow each students progress, with small bursts of education to practice and perfect.
7. Almost all of our courses have no structured class or start days/times. You can start anytime after you register.
8. Craps restarts every Monday at Noon. Mastery courses will have a posted schedule.
9. When you enroll at CEG you get at least 6 months to finish your courses. Most students are certified and find employment within just a few months.
10. CEG is a State Licensed Trade School. You receive a Certificate for each course you complete.
11. CEG Offers Job Placement Assistance and referrals. We help graduates throughout their gaming career.

Blackjack

First Blackjack
At CEG you learn Pitch, Face-Up, Shoe and all other variations to become a highly proficient Blackjack Dealer.
If you are looking for a career in Casino Gaming, Blackjack is mandatory. The CEG Blackjack course provides a foundation in bank management, game protection, critical drills and game presence, all of which are important to advance your career.

2 to 3 Weeks
Career Path Notes: Casinos require that all dealers have a working knowledge of Blackjack at a minimum.
Blackjack is a critical game to know, but do not limit yourself to just one game. Knowing more games will make you more competitive and insure a lasting career with more choices.
Roulette

Roulette Mainstay
CEG offers full sized Left and Right Roulette tables so you can master both types of spins and all types of betting action.
Practicing on full sized professional tables is important to gain the most authentic experience when training to become a casino dealer.
Average Time to Complete:
2 to 3 Weeks
Career Path Notes: Mastery of Roulette provides a path to high limit rooms and higher tier casinos. In Europe, Roulette is more popular than Blackjack.
Once you have experience on Double Zero Roulette you can learn to deal Single Zero Roulette, a mainstay of high limit rooms. There is a huge demand for SR dealers at a top tier casinos.
Baccarat

Baccarat HIgh Limit
Train on full sized professional Midi Baccarat tables, larger than standard tables and mainstays of high limit rooms at the best casinos.
At CEG, you will learn Mini and Midi Baccarat. Each of these games has important distinctions that are critical to mastering the game and preparing yourself for an upwardly mobile career.

Career Path Notes: Baccarat is a popular game found on the Las Vegas Strip, Asian-directed markets and some local casinos.
Expertise in Baccarat, especially Midi Bacc can help you jumpstart a career with top tier casinos but is not always found at lower end casinos.
Craps

Craps Highest Demand
With 2 full sized craps tables and a seated practice game, CEG has made Craps instruction a cornerstone of its school.
We have a 30 year Craps dealing veteran and 2 coaches that rely on block training techniques which bolster aptitude, expertise and proficiency.
Without question, Craps dealers are in the highest demand. At CEG we include top tier Craps dynamics that can prepare you for a higher level of play.

Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is considered a specialty game, often referred to as a “Carnival Game” inside a casino floor. A High and Low Hand are made using poker rankings to compete. By far, Pai Gow Poker is the most popular Carnival game and can be found at most casinos. Learning to become an effective Pai Gow Poker dealer will go a long way to upgrading your resume.

Single Zero Roulette
Single Zero roulette is considered on par with Craps in terms of level of difficulty. In Vegas, almost every top tier casino struggles with recruiting and retaining well qualified SR dealers. As such, demand for SR dealers is always high. However, you must have competence, presence and ability to pass an audition. We offer an instructor with 25 years SR experience at the highest levels. Dice Master
A lack of training and action can put your casino career on pause or erode your skills and confidence. The CEG Dice Master course is divided into 6 basic blocks that address all top tier audition demands. You will learn to scale in colors and units, manage – bettor – context at every level, improve your presence on the game, rule the prop box, upgrade your “hands” and dramatically improve your ability to control the order of operations on a busy game. Course instruction is provided by a 30 year Crap dealer and instructor. This course is only available on a limited basis.
